The City of Hamilton has a contract with Cornell Construction Ltd. to perform preventative maintenance on CORLIS ROAD as called for under contract C15-45-20(M). The Surface Treatment Program contributes to reduced maintenance costs, dust mitigation and extended road lifecycle expectancy. Construction is scheduled to commence on or about July 20 2020, with a completion date of September 11, 2020 weather permitting.

Please note there are a number of roads across the City included in this contract so you may not see the works start as early as July 20th.

The work involves, Culvert replacement, Pulverizing followed by Double Surface Treatment application, (Tar and Chip). You may experience some inconveniences such as noise, dust, and restricted traffic movement during construction. It is intended to maintain pedestrian access and vehicular access to all properties on these roads at all times through construction; however, there will be certain times that access will be restricted. Every effort will be made to do the work in a timely manner and to keep any inconvenience to a minimum. We ask for your patience during this period.

For the duration of the project, the City of Hamilton on-site Inspector will be made available to explain the sequence of work and make note of any anticipated problems during construction.
