We wanted to provide you with an update on the planning for the Ward Boundary Review. The public consultation phase of the review will begin on February 3, 2016. An independent firm, Watson & Associates Economists Ltd., in association with Trust Learning Solutions, ICA Associates Inc. and public affairs consultant Dr. Robert J. Williams, was hired to carry out the review. The consulting team is set to host seven public workshops:

The workshops will provide residents with an overview of the purpose of the review and current ward boundaries, give them an opportunity to provide input into what the review should consider, and share what they value about the community and what they feel makes it unique.
Subsequent phases of the review include a report to General Issues Committee in the spring outlining initial options, public consultation on the proposed options, and a final recommendation report to Council in the fall of 2016.
